Thanks ken! yes, I bought the cylinder head, waterpump and valves from the Ebay auction, so I can complete my spare engine, no starter indeed, I did ask him! I guess I can weld it back on, but have heard it's not gonna last long!

No, miraculously that is an original manifold, I had to weld one ear back on, but that went OK.

Good that they remanufacture the manifolds though, but why doesn't it say FC model on the website?

The case rc tractor had a waukesha fc in it that is what they are selling the manifolds for for but it is a exact copy only difference is the 3 pipe plugs in the side they could be drilled if needed I think Oz was the first to use one. as for welding the nose cone I would go to good welding shop I think it would last if done nicely the important thing is the prep and fixturing I have been welding cast iron with great success for a long time now and they have new tig rods that I hear are great .Have yo tried Jobbers inc for a starter I was thinking you got the nos head from them

Ok, yes that's logical, I only have one drilled hole and plug in my manifold.
Am working on a starter now, someone said they might have one!

Was $300.00, he has NOS blocks aswell I believe.

Ok, little update,

After two years of searching I found a starter on Ebay, for $35.00 incl. shipping to a US address, so I took the gamble, as the casting numbers were different, and eventually it got to my place, and guess what, it was the right one. (only the bendix was for opposite rotation)



So very happy, but I had also commisioned the foundry to have two cast, so they were ready at about the same time! typical!!



One will be for sale after machining, but not for $35.00!!!

Now need to get a battery, anyone knows the size??

Have started the Clark last week, a couple times with the handcrank, and runs very nice! had the ignition out 180 degrees at first!



Repaired the radiator and shroud, so that is next to add, and to find the leak in the fuel tank, and we're getting somewhere!

Here the radiator, after cleaning and some soldering, painted the cooling block black, rest will be OD.

Found two little leaks, and soldered them, time will tell if the radiator is falling apart or not.

And fitted, just saw I left the cardboard masking, beter remove before starting!!
