engine rebuild
got my 1st engine torn down it does not look good it has been bored 4o over and the crank is 30 under and the vave guides are loose as a goose. I got a kwik way boring bar and a kwik way valve and seat grinder this weekend I am going to try to do as much work as I can my self. I am going to try to sleave the block back the 40 over and use the old pistons with new rings the big problem is the crank welding the journals and grinding seems to be the only option at this point
any advice I would love to hear
thanx ken

Re: engine rebuild
Hi just got back from Storm crakshaft in Mount Vernon NY I have been looking for a crank for the waukesha fc in my clark dozer. I triped over them on craigs list they have thousands of cranks in stock way back to the begining of time they had 5 cranks for the wauk in stock and more important they had main bearings in stock 150 to grind my crank while I waited and they let me into the shop to watch nice guys good for odd ball motors
