That looks fine to me. I see you have swapped the terminals over on the ignition and light switch!! Technically the flow of electrons is from + ve pole to - ve pole and therefore the original diagram would have been correct. Only a switch and makes no difference which way round it is wired. You are correct with the link to complete the ignition circuit. I hope my input was helpful!! Good luck with the switch on.

Yes it was! Joe from Vintage wiring said he would make a small section to finish the IGN connection. I suppose the question is which way should the switch be pointing when the ligts/ignition is on? If we determine that, then all we need to do is reverse the +/- wires on both switches and the switch would reverse on and off. Is that correct?

I used a multimeter and a small battery. With the final configuration that is posted above, the current does not flow when the switch is in the vertical position. When the lever is moved to the 9 o'clock position, current flows.
