When I took apart the ignition components for my "refurbish" I took a lot of photos to make sure I would remember where it all goes.
Seeing as I intended to replace all the wiring, I wasnt all that concerned as its pretty basic anyway.
What I forgot to take a photo of was how/where the condensor is attached to the distributor body and how its wired to the distributor.
I know it was attached to the outside of the distro case with a screw.. I left that in place. BUT...Where does the wire from the condensor terminate too?
And.. is the termination point the same as the wire coming from the coil?
Seems like all the questions i have cannot be found in my manual! Go figure!
If anyone has a quick picture of the condensor mounted to the distro, and where the wire from it goes, AND, lastly, where the wire from the coil attaches too, I would be mightly obliged
I could use some help :(
Re: I could use some help :(
My condensor was attached to the bottom outside of the distributor case. The condensor wire was run up to the bolt that held the points spring on to the side of the condensor case.
