Hi Guys,
A lot of you have been involved with answering questions on my Clark when I first bought it earlier this year.
As you all know, I bought what most would consider one great survivor, having little wear and in great running shape, needing only some minor "tweeks" and restore work.
Well, it is now done. Has been for months, and in fact, resides now at my cabin in Oklahoma where it helps me do some light grading and yard work. It has been a tremendous help in moving the last few loads of shale.
Well personal changes in my life are leading me to consider selling it now.. Sometimes money in the bank is worth more than toys, and this may be the case now for me.
So, like I wrote, this machine is in great working condition. Motor is a great runner, all systems work well, hydraylics and the blade work great too. Tracks, sprockets and undercarriage like 90% or so. Lots of adjustment left.
DoD: 3-26-44
Serial: CA 1441508
registration number: 9113462
This machine has a lot of the hard to find and almost always missing parts, like the light bucket, the winch, the rear hydrylics back to the scraper, when in use, even has the adjustment spring covers.
I tore the entire unit down to the undercarriage leaving tracks and motor and running gear in place. All other parts were taken offf sandbasted and re-finished.
Seat frame was rebuilt/fabvbed/ reworked as needed, canvas installed, batter box and cover restored/fabbed/ reproduced....some minor wiring to run it was routed using vintage cloth wiring and coverings...(Have vintage wiring left to complete wiring to the lights) Radiator was flushed, as was the entire hydrayic system and new fluids replaced in all. I even reconditioned the gas tank with a gas tank liner kit so as to never have any other future issues with rust,m even tho there was none at the time.
Main high pressure hoses replaced by me, the smaller cylinder hoses replaced by previuos owner, but all are solid and no cracks and work great.
However, I did replace the generator with a small alternator. Cant see it, as its hidden and I painted casing flat black, so it blends in well. Have original parts to put back together, I just wanted simplicity and reliability, and I achieved that. However, it may not be for the prurist, or the next owenr ,sp the parts are there.
anyway, I am thinking its worht in the neighborhood of 13,500 or so as is.. I had a fellow just recently offer me his CA-1 for 16K.... I think mine priced at 13.5K, with some minor wiring, a little more details, will be as good as they get.
Its a great example of a machine that wasnt abused or worn out.. It runs super. and looks great.

I can get photos to any interested parties. For now, you can see the follwing links to the work I did, and the condition of the machine today.
