the early handbook for the first tractors, serial 1 -16, the one OZ posted on line.

I noticed the hydraulic lines back to the pull equipment is mounted low, right under the frame, near the winch.

look at page 2 of that handbook.

interesting. Clark engineers must have found out very fast that this was a good place to get the lines ripped out quickly! :oops:

Yep! Look at fig 13 on p. 6. Quite a difference from the high mounted couplings. My current CA-1 does not have any rearward lines. I'm not sure if they were simply removed, or if there was a spec for CA-1s w/o the lines going aft. Its one thing missing on a number of others as well.
