Hi I'm about to start a Clarkair project down here in New Zealand. The machine has no winch.

Are there any winches or parts of winches for sale out there?

Did any other WW2 vehicle have the same winch or one that's close enough and can be adapted to fit?

I know they are Braden winches but can someone please tell me the model number?

This Clarkair is the only one I know of in the southern hemisphere so its all pretty exciting really :D

Thanks in advance Wayne

Wayne, was your tractor already down there or did you ship it? Curious as to the spread of the CA-1 throughout the war.

Were they in the south pacific?
