SO, got a call from the curator of the Frontiers of Flight Museum in Dallas, TX.
Seems that the Collins foundation WW2 era war birds plan to be here at the Museum for a flyin in approx 3 weeks from now (March 14th thru the 19th)
They wish to have my Clark on display, along with a number of other Airborne equipment displays and such. I am seeing the local re-eanctors, MV owners and other collectors starting to send out emails to start drumming interest.. Looks like this may be a pretty good show.
They also have a ww2 glider diaorama there...they said they want the Dozer next to it, so looks like Ill be displaying inside.
Also, in May, there is another chance to display Baby Clark, at Perrin Field, in Sherman, TX.. an Engineering Battalion from WW2 is planning to make a stop here during their reunion. My MV club plans to setup a display for the day there.
Baby Clark is gonna get busy this year.
SO I had better get to finishing this up! At least to a point where I can move it.
Well, my first display coming up!
