101st in Normandy

Post by admin »

This is somewhat off the Clarkair subject but interesting. Research was done and at least one Dozer apparently was delivered on D-day.

I took these pictures with a cellphone in the museum in St mere Eglise, Normandy last year, they have a restored CA-1 too there, will add pictures/data of that one later, is there a place for restored/survived Clarks here on the forum?

I believe the tractor is a Case SI. It was used by Airborne Engineers but I have not seen any in Overlord/Normandy pictures. I am sure it followed the troops in on the beach resupply.
