Hi from a new CA-1 owner from England

Hi everybody. The name's Neil Jones from Wiltshire, England. I'm an aircraft engineer in the RAF but my true passion is doing research about the Airborne Troop Carriers who were stationed very close to me during WWII.

This led to me learning about the Clark CA-1 and how they were transported by C-47's and gliders. So I've been slowly seeing if I could find a Clark for myself. Well, to cut a long story short, over Christmas I found a nice 1944 example in the US and took the plunge and bought it. Hopefully it will arrive in the UK next month.

Once it arrives, I'm sure the questions will come thick and fast from me.

Any updates? did your Clark arrive in Blighty yet?

Yes the Clark arrived back in March last year.
