I found this nice Clark forum and thought I'd jump in. I'm working on a CA-1 that I'd been trying to help sell for someone else and now may end up buying for various reasons.
The owner prior to the most recent owner indicated that it had come from a military base in WI where they used it to move things around. It had been nicely fitted with wooden blocks between the grousers such that it could be driven on concrete. Supposedly this one was built towards the end of the war and was never actually deployed. Since the undercarriage is about 98%, I'd be inclined to believe this. It does not have any data/serial tags on it other than the one on the back of the blade. I live in Michigan and have limited knowledge of these little machines, but have always had an interest in older military jeeps and trucks. I'll post some questions in the appropriate forums in the near future, along with pictures.
