i have just baught my first bulldozer i was on the web searching for parts incase i need them and discovered i own a ca-1 clark tho the tag on the front says us trac.
O i guess i should state my name Hi i am mike higgins i am a 50 year old cancer surivor and amputee. after my battle with cancer i could no longer find work so i started a hobby farm the place use to be a scrap yard for dead cars and after trying to clean old metal and trying to plow the fields i found even more scrap burried. the duty of this dozer will be to i hope make a big enough hole to scrape the new scrap clean i think my biggest task will be making sure i dont over work her as i am now aware how collectable my ca-1 is it works perfectly and is in awsome shape. i was origionally was hired to wake her up sense she was alseep for well over 20 years. i have been reading lots on these little beast and they have such a rich history of each and every one. i must say i am proud to be here. from what i can see and read mine is all origional and i am missing the tool chest but i do have blade and winch tho the engine has been worked on i have an alt on it but still posses the gen

Hello Mike,
let me say welcome to the forum. We are always glad to gain a new member. We look forward to hearing about your restoration efforts on the running CA-1 and of course would love to see some pics of her in action.

You are quite a survivor! Thanks for sharing your story. I have been off the forum for several weeks while moving my family to New Mexico. Although i am trying to build my own house, I hope to get back to some minor work on the Clark. Welcome again!!
