Great photo! Anyone have thoughts on the track color? Looks like parkerized. I was going to go with Od and let mother nature due her job. What's eveyone else planning?

Hi, here a picture of the dataplate, that came off my dozerblade, I know the guy who restored this for the museum, and they just sprayed the tracks black, to make it a bit more interesting to look at.

my tracks will be OD like the rest.. although looking at those "blackened" versions, I like the look. hummmm
I suppose its great for a static piece, but use the machine and its going to get worn down to bright metal, from gravel/dirt to steel , and when sitting ,WILL form a layer of rust. My Cletrac has that look, and in addition, has oil all over the edges from the sprockets and rollers.
