Great pictures Dave!
Thanks for sharing.
There is some serious cleats on those track pads. Mine are only about 1/3 of that height.

thanks guys... Yea, I am glad I got one in the condition I did.. The undercarriage, as anyone with crawler experince knows, is the most important of all.
Ill be posting from time to time.
If the weather holds when I leave here and get home tonight from work, I intend to start pulling off sheet metal, getting ready to bring to my sandblaster.
Ill photograph any areas of interest. This is pretty complete with even the track spring covers.
Maybe I should measure and document those peices? Anyone missing theirs where a set of drawings of these would be benificial?
Dave

I aint forgot the drawings!!!
I just havent removed the track spring covers yet. Will do this when I have the undercarriage sandbasted. Want to get at all the adjusting springs and mechanism as well as get "deeper" in to the carriage for the best cleaning I can without breakign down to little individaul parts. I am just not set up for that kind of restoration here at home. Wish I was.. WIsh I had a forklift to get this, as is (non-running) carcass to my sandblaster NOW to get at all the bottom end, But I cant.. It will go in stages.
