When I purchased the dozer the motor was stuck. I received the all to frequent "ran when parked" excuse when I bought it. I bought it knowing the motor would have to come apart. I removed the head and found minimal rust in the cylinders. The worst one being the one with the exhaust valve stuck open. Diesel fuel and daily wrenching of the flywheel pulley bolt broke it free. Removal of the cylinder head revealed below. Most of that is anti freeze.
After a honing of the cylinders the turn over smoothly.
I want to get the engine running to check the drive-train before I rebuild the engine. Need to know my complete exposure before I decide whether to invest the funds or sell it.

Dave, I know that this post is a little late but I just wanted to say that I also bought my Clark CA-1 in Glens Falls, NY from a scrap yard about 30 years ago.
