$226.90 for two H.P hoses!

I took my two lower H.P. hoses off of the dozer last night. Figured it best to replace now rather than find a leak after putting it all together.

Both were really cracked and brittle. One actually twisted off in my hand trying to remove. Fitting was tight to the hose, not allowing it to spin.

Went at lunch to one of the local hose manufacturer shops. One of them places that build em while you wait kinda place, catering to the equipment folks.

The original style of ends are not avaialbe. So, I had little choices.. I DID however opt to get the swivle style ends to make putting them on in that tight area a little easier. on. (Swivel ends added about 10 dollars per assembly)

So, one hose assembly was around 95 bucks, the other like 115.

With tax over 226 dollars. Could have I shopped around ,more? yea, probably.. I did have one qoute over the phone in the 400 dollar range, so I know I didnt get the highest shop around!
